Josh Klemons is a Digital Storyteller/Strategist and the founder of Reverbal Communications. He and his team help progressive campaigns, brands and organizations find, hone and tell their stories online.

He’s done social media and digital marketing work with local and statewide political campaigns, tiny non-profits, Fortune 500 companies and everything in between.

Degrees, Moving and So Much Content

Josh has lived in a dozen cities across many states (and two countries). As well as Washington, DC, a city he loves but is thrilled to no longer call home. (#Traffic)

He has a BA in Advertising he never thought he’d use… but now uses every day. And an MA in International Peace and Conflict Resolution with a concentration in the Middle East that is occasionally useful in his daily life. 🤷‍♂️

For some, digital marketing’s a good gig — for Josh, it’s a passion. He never tires of guiding brands, organizations and political campaigns through the ever-changing landscape of the internet. He wears his passion on his sleeve, and it’s one of the things he hears most often following consultations or public speaking gigs: that his passion for the industry is both infectious and inspiring.

He reads dozens of newsletters, listens to hours of podcasts and endlessly scrolls social media… so you don’t have to!

Bluegrass, Travel, The West Wing and More…

When Josh isn’t working with brands, organizations and progressive political campaigns, he’s hanging with his wife and two young boys in Madison, WI. When the boys are asleep, he’s often playing music.

He’s a singer/songwriter and plays bluegrass and Americana guitar, upright and electric bass, banjo, mandolin… and a few other things. He’s also an avid reader, consummate news junky and never tires of The West Wing.

Once upon a time, he did a lot of international travel. In fact, years ago, he had so many stamps in his passport he needed to apply for extra pages. Then he got busy and stopped traveling. And his passport expired without a single new stamp. womp womp 🙃
