Makeshift Festival
I managed social media ads to help raise awareness about this annual celebration of public art, food and public parks. In our inaugural year, we had over 4000 attendees. In year two, that number went up to 6000! Learn more about Makeshift Festival.

Assessed and audited the digital program of Representative Peter Barca and the entire Wisconsin Democratic Assembly.

Facebook Live CD Release Party
Helped a musician plan and roll-out a successful Facebook Live CD release party that received more views in one day than anything they had ever done prior. To the best of my knowledge, this was the first such event ever hosted via this new and exciting platform.

Board President: Social Media Breakfast Madison
Social Media Breakfast Madison is a non-profit volunteer-run organization with a focus on social media and empowering the community on this ever-evolving medium.

As a board member, I help plan events, coordinate logistics, assist in doing outreach to potential sponsors, and take on a general leadership roles for the organization’s hundreds of active participants.

  • Resident Facebook trainer, running classes on Facebook’s front end, analytics and ads manager

  • Trained two dozen non-profits on how to better use Twitter to assist them in their annual giving campaigns

Association of Reform Zionists of America

  • Managed and significantly expanded reach/following/engagement of social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, Instragram, reddit [AMA]) for 2015 World Zionist Congress elections

Organizing For Action_Wisconsin’s Statewide Digital Lead

  • Oversaw and managed their social media accounts (over 20k Twitter followers and over 30k Facebook likes) throughout the Affordable Care Act’s roll-out
  • Trained local volunteers, help office hours and supervised local digital leads

#BBQandA
Coined the concept while working on a Governor’s campaign. We went on to host dozens of them throughout the campaign. It was co-opted by the DCCC.

Ice Cream Company

  • Developed strategy and oversaw creation of city-wide contest to name new ice cream flavors
  • Over the course of 10 days, with only a $500 Facebook advertising budget, managed ads that were seen almost 90k times by over 60k people and that netted almost 3500 engagements. Grew their Facebook likes from 493 to 869 for a 10 day increase of over 43%
